Terms & Conditions
Last updated: August 2026
These terms apply to every moving-lift booking made through lift-belgique.be or by phone.
1. Provider
Services are provided by [RAISON SOCIALE] — [N° BCE/TVA] — [ADRESSE DU SIÈGE], hereafter “Lift Belgique”.
2. Quotes and booking
Every quote is free and without obligation. It is based on the information supplied by the client: address, floor, height, type of items and access conditions.
A booking becomes firm once Lift Belgique confirms it in writing. A quote remains valid for 30 days.
If the conditions found on site differ substantially from those announced (higher floor, unusable access, larger volume), the price may be adjusted after informing the client.
3. Rates and payment
Rates start at €55/h. Surcharges may apply above 18 metres, at weekends, on public holidays and for difficult access. They are always announced before the job.
Payment is due after the job, by card, transfer, Bancontact or cash, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4. Parking and permits
Booking the parking space is the client’s responsibility, unless the quote states otherwise in writing. Lift Belgique can handle it for a surcharge.
If the lift cannot be set up on the agreed day because no space is free, the job counts as a late cancellation under article 5.
5. Cancellation and postponement
Any cancellation or postponement notified more than 48 hours before the job is free of charge.
Within 48 hours, a flat fee equal to one hour of service may be charged. Where weather makes lift use unsafe (strong wind, ice), postponement is free for both parties.
6. Client obligations
The client guarantees that an adult is present on site, that the façade and the window or balcony used are freely accessible, and that furniture requiring it has been dismantled beforehand.
Items of exceptional value, artworks and fragile equipment must be declared before the job.
7. Liability and insurance
Lift Belgique works with trained operators and professional liability insurance covering damage caused during the job.
Liability does not cover damage resulting from inaccurate information supplied by the client, from the inherent fragility of an undeclared item, nor pre-existing damage.
Any damage must be reported on site and confirmed in writing within 48 hours.
8. Complaints and governing law
Complaints can be sent to info@liftbelgique.be. We acknowledge receipt within 5 working days.
These terms are governed by Belgian law. The courts of the district of Lift Belgique’s registered office have sole jurisdiction, without prejudice to consumer rights.
